Attorneys Don Ohl and Abby Bandy recently secured a defense verdict on behalf of client Larry’s Motor Sports following a three day jury trial in Cole County, Missouri. Plaintiff sustained severe bodily injuries including a tibia fracture, neck fracture, fractured rib, and ruptured spleen when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. Plaintiff alleged that his crash was the result of defendant’s negligent repair of his motorcycle. During closing argument, counsel for plaintiff asked that the jury return a verdict in favor of his client for an amount between $750,000.00 and $950,000.00. Following less than two hours of deliberation on July 18, 2019, the jury returned a defense verdict for Larry’s Motor Sports, finding Plaintiff 100% at fault for the accident.
